02. How does the interactive color-changing mechanism work?
Our proprietary visual effects are built using specialty thermochromic and photochromic formulation technologies:

1. Cold-Activated (Thermochromic): Reacts when liquid below ~18°C (64°F) is poured into the vessel, revealing vivid colors or hidden artwork.

2. Heat-Activated (Thermochromic): Switches from dark/opaque to full transparency when hot liquid above ~45°C (113°F) is introduced.

03. Can we combine multiple interactive visual effects on a single mug or cup?
Yes. Multi-effect layering is one of MUGBABY's premier capabilities. For instance, we frequently engineer dual-stage reveals (static base graphics combined with cold-activated thermochromic overlays plus glow-in-the-dark rim accents), providing interactive storytelling for IP collabs and retail collectibles.
04. What design files and color matching systems are required for manufacturing?
We require vector files in .AI, .EPS, or high-resolution layered .PDF format with all typography converted to outlines. Colors should specify Pantone Solid Coated (PMS) numbers for precise ink calibration before and after the transition state.
05. How durable is the color-changing coating under regular washing and daily usage?
Our micro-encapsulated inks withstand over 1,500+ standard thermal cycles without color degradation. We recommend gentle hand washing with soft sponges to prolong outer coating lifespan and avoid prolonged exposure to direct high-intensity UV ovens or microwave units unless specified as microwave-safe.
